Privacy Policy

Delta Pharmacy (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website deltapharmacy.pk and delivers medicines and healthcare products across Pakistan. Because we are a pharmacy, some of the information you share with us,

such as prescriptions, is health information. We treat it with a higher standard of care than ordinary shopping data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, and what choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly:

• Name, phone number, email address, and delivery address when you place an order or create an account.
• Prescription images and the details they contain (patient name, doctor’s name, prescribed medicines, dosage) when you order prescription-only medicines.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp, by phone, or through the website, including questions to our pharmacists.
• Payment details for online payments. Card payments are processed by our payment partners. Delta Pharmacy does not store complete card numbers on its own systems.

Information collected automatically:

• Order history and items viewed on our website.
• Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. Orders must be placed by an adult. Medicines for children should be ordered by a parent or guardian.

2. How we use your information

• To fill your orders: verify prescriptions, prepare medicines, arrange delivery, and process payment or cash on delivery.
• Pharmacist review: our licensed pharmacists review prescription orders and may call you to confirm a dosage, flag an interaction, or clarify an unclear prescription. This is a core part of how we operate.
• To support you: respond to questions, handle returns and complaints, and send order status updates by SMS or WhatsApp.
• Refill reminders (optional): if you opt in, we remind you when a monthly medicine is likely running out. You can switch this off at any time.
• To improve our service: understand which products and pages are useful, fix problems, and prevent fraud.
• Legal compliance: maintain dispensing records as required of a licensed pharmacy under applicable Pakistani drug laws and DRAP regulations.

We do not use your prescription or health information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles from your medical purchases.

3. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to serve you:

• Delivery partners (our riders and courier companies such as [TCS / Leopards / Bkyea]) receive your name, address, phone number, and package details. They never see your prescription contents. Medicine parcels are packed in plain packaging that does not reveal what is inside.
• Payment processors (JazzCash, EasyPaisa, banks, card gateways) receive the details needed to process your payment.
• Regulators and law enforcement, if we are legally required to produce dispensing records or respond to a lawful order.
• Professional advisers (auditors, lawyers) under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share customer lists with pharmaceutical companies or marketers.

4. How we protect your information

• Prescription images and order records are stored on access-controlled systems. Only pharmacy staff who need them to fill your order can view them.
• Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all traffic.
• Staff are trained on confidentiality, and access is logged.
• We keep dispensing and prescription records for the period required by law for licensed pharmacies, then delete or anonymize them.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your personal information, we will inform affected customers promptly and honestly.

5. Your choices and rights

• Access and correction: you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing care@deltapharmacy.pk.
• Deletion: you can ask us to delete your account and data. We will do so except where the law requires a pharmacy to retain dispensing records for a set period.
• Marketing: promotional messages are optional. Every SMS, WhatsApp, or email campaign includes a way to opt out, or you can simply message “STOP.”
• Refill reminders: opt in or out at any time from your account or by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your login, and understand site usage through analytics tools such as Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings. The cart and login features may not work without essential cookies.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and meaningful changes will be announced on this page.
